[열교환기] PWHT 관련 API660 요구사항

API660에서는 아래와 같은 경우 Channel 및 Bonnet에 PWHT를 요구하고 있습니다.

A) Tube Pass 수가 6 이상일 경우

B) Nozzle Size가 Channel Shell ID 대비 0.5배 이상일 경우

 

간단한 내용이지만 중요한 사항이기 때문에 항상 TUBE PASS 수와 Nozzle Size를 확인하여 PWHT 필요 유무를 확인할 필요가 있습니다.

 

API 660 paragraph 9.6.9

Postweld heat treatment of fabricated carbon steel and low-alloy (msximum 9% chromium) steel channelsand bonnets shall be performed for the following:

A) Channels and bonnets with six or more tube passes;
B) Channels and bonnets whose nozzle-to-cylinder internal diameter ratios are 0.5or greater, except where a cornical reducer is used in place of the channel or bonnet.
